By Pete Rock and CL Smooth. On the mixtape Iman. delivers powerful lyrics as an ode to some of our favorite rappers of the past. Iman. did a remake of Notorious BIG’s “Suicidal Thoughts”, Pop Smokes “Dior” and Snoh Aelegra’s “I want You Around”.

The fourteen track mixtape Joyride, Iman lyrically describes the current state of the world, the pandemic, police brutality, his wife and children, the youth, LOVE and how people of color are affected by circumstances. His single “Gohan” is personal because it was selected by his daughter Junie and it’s the only original track on the Joyride project.
