LiBand – “Due Date”

Louisiana has been the home for some of the most recent record-breaking musical acts in the world, such as NBA Youngboy, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, and Lil Boosie. Each of those artists presents a level of grit and toughness necessary to survive in a rough environment growing up in which music was their only way out of the hood.

Add Shreveport’s young 16-year phenom LiBand to that list. Whether it’s head boppin’ or melodic, his lyrics can be described as emotional, influential, and inspirational. LiBand intends to show the world how one can create a positive impact in a negative situation.

“Take your situation and make it better.” When asked what inspired him to go into music, “LiBand replied “lifestyle. My life is too much like a story; I wanted to turn it into art.”
