Doja Cat Issues Apology via Instagram for Racist Remarks

By  |

Doja Cat is under the hottest of fire over her song “Dindu Nuffin” and saying offensive things in racist public chatrooms. Shocked? Well, we are too. Doja Cat’s “Say So” just beat Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Beginning Friday, fans produced the Twitter hashtag #DojaCatIsOverParty after the TinyChat videos went viral. This has to be the worst time to have this degree of negative media attention. What makes this even more of a cringeworthy situation is that these events are fairly new.

Yesterday (May 24), Doja Cat issued an apology for the song, but denies that she has been involved in any racist conversations. Check out the IG post below and let us know your thoughts.
