AYO SK3TCH Drops A Hype Video For “#FREESK3TCH

“#FREESK3TCH” is the latest hit single from AYO SK3TCH, in which he takes a bold new direction in his music career. Over a brooding West Coast beat, courtesy of Hitmob Music Group producer AceTheFace, known for his work with 1TakeJay and Shoreline Mafia, SK3TCH reflects on a series of racial slurs directed at him by former Vine star and Vlog Squad member BigNik. SK3TCH spits out a series of bars which mean to elevate his artistry as a rapper and contrast it with that of a “culture vulture” who he pans for wanting to benefit from hip-hop culture despite having a deep hatred for the people behind it.

SK3TCH contrasts his upbringing, which he notes is rough, in contrast to those who “grew up real safe” and “never had to watch” their “back.” He then reaffirms that he will not back down in the face of adversity, and will deal with it the same way he always has: by focusing on himself and his hustle. The accompanying visual, created by Jonny Mats, features SK3TCH prominently snapping back at his haters.
