LeBron James among those evacuating due to LA-area wildfires
LeBron James took to Twitter just before 4 am PST to share that he and his family were amongst those evacuated from their homes and looking for shelter as a wildfire that erupted had grown to more than 70 acres near his Brentwood home.
He noted both that the fires were no joke and that they were having a hard time finding accommodations.
Man these LA 🔥 aren’t no joke. Had to emergency evacuate my house and I’ve been driving around with my family trying to get rooms. No luck so far! 🤦🏾♂️

The Lakers star played with his team Sunday evening, scoring 20 points on 7-14 shooting in a 120-101 victory over the visiting Charlotte Hornets.
The blaze comes as the Tick Fire near Santa Clarita was 70% contained as of Sunday night. Up north, crews are grappling with a wildfire in Sonoma County that officials say covers 85 square miles (220 square kilometers).
