By  |

This 56,500 square foot “W”-shaped mansion has 123 rooms, 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, requires a staff of 30 to keep going, if the LA Times’ reporting is correct, is about to sell for $120 million, down from it’s asking price of $160 million to become the highest price paid for a residential home in Los Angeles County history.

It shatters last year’s sale of Peter Morton’s Malibu beach house for $110 million.

The seller is Petra Ecclestone, daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, who bought the mansion $85 million in an all-cash deal eight years ago.
