By  |

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime by a final score of 119-117 to win the Western Conference Finals, 4-0. The Warriors join the Boston Celtics (10 consecutive appearances from 1957-66) as the only franchises in NBA history to reach at least five consecutive NBA Finals. Stephen Curry (37 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) and Draymond Green (18 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists) led the way for the Warriors as they became the first teammates in NBA Playoffs history to record a triple-double in the same game. Meyers Leonard recorded a career-high 30 points (12-16 FG, 5-8 3pt FG), to go with 12 rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers, while Damian Lillard added 28 points and an NBA Playoffs career-high 12 assists in the losing effort. The Warriors will face off against the 2019 Eastern Conference Champion (winner of the Toronto Raptors-Milwaukee Bucks series) in the 2019 NBA Finals
