DreamVille Fest Salutes Nipsey Hussle

The Marathon continued at the inaugural Dreamville Festival with countless tributes for Nipsey Hussle. The event, which was rescheduled from last year, took place on the grounds of Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday, April 6.

During J.Cole’s closing performance, Jermaine dedicated “Love Yourz” to Nipsey Hussle. He also brought out special guests Meek Mill and 21 Savage, who performed earlier in the day.

Prior to Cole’s performance, Big Sean paid his respects to Nipsey with a heart-felt freestyle dedicated to the late rapper. Earlier in the day, Teyana Taylor remembered Nipsey and Lauren London with her song, “Gonna Love Me”.

Throughout the day, other acts that hit the stage included SZA, Nelly, 6LACK, Rapsody, Saba, Davido, Mez as well as Dreamville’s roster Bas, J.I.D, Cozz, EarthGang, Ari Lennox, Omen, and Lute.
