In light of recent allegations against singer R. Kelly and the release of Leaving Neverland, a documentary featuring Michael Jackson’s alleged victims, people are discussing their abilities, or inabilities, to separate allegations against public figures from their work. Can we watch “The Cosby Show”, listen to “Thriller”, or watch a Kevin Spacey movie in the same way as if these artists hadn’t done these things?
