Tesla moves to online-only sales as it announces base Model 3 for $35,000

In a press release, Tesla Inc. says it is shifting sales worldwide to online only as a way to remain financially sustainable following the release of its long-awaited $35,000 (US) version of its Model 3 car. CEO Elon Musk said it was “hellishly difficult to reduce the cost of the car” without making a number of sacrifices.
