First Five: Choosing the 2017-18 All-NBA First Team

By  |

Kevin Durant made another appearance this week on Bill Simmons’ podcast.

He talked a lot about “King Hoopers” and who his first five might be.

Over the course of conversation, the rules were made clearer –   if you didn’t play in 50 games, you were out.

This excluded obvious choices like Curry, Leonard, and Cousins.

With so many guards having career years, and Durant, LeBron, Anthony Davis, and James Harden locks to make it,  “Who’s your fifth?” is becoming a pretty good topic for discussion.

With the NBA regular season fast coming to a close, we’ve selected 14 players that have first-team potential.

Who you got? Check out our gallery of nominees and let us know what you think in the comments.
