Hey Jason thanks for the add! I was reading your comment in “IndustryA$$hole's" and I read the quote. You have a point...when you “know better you do better” meaning if you want to better yourself and circumstance it is definitely attainable with hard work and knowledge, however, I don't buy the whole concept of "Forget about slavery its a scapegoat for black people's lack of drive" Its NO secret that the European culture has had a great record of destruction & domination not to mention thievery of ideas and concepts. This is a fact from the Middle Ages with Feudalism and the abuse of people masked by the Church to Imperialism That lead to the downfall of East Asia to Africa. I grew up in the projects yet managed to go to great programs and schools but it was always a struggle. When you come from a environment that really sets you up for failure because there is already this notion that you won’t be anything because of your color, environment, and social status, it can be very difficult! You got people who see you from the top throwing all type of shit out there because they see you coming no matter the industry or profession even school. I know for a FACT that it is harder for someone in this type of situation to move forward because there is a fear of this type of person to be successful yet still stay true to their basic values….And their people for that matter because there is this pressure to conform to what is Acceptable to society and not what is real! Why do you think our president? Who is biracial! But only seen as BLACK is having so many issues trying to run this country when he is qualified, intelligent, and has all the credentials to! But yet in still the buffoon before him damn near destroyed the country, But Thousands turn up there stuffy noses and turn the other check and say “oh the stock market crashed and we have terrorists invading the country and the president is on vacation for 8 months playing golf and international relations is fucked up and we are paying off debts with our retirement and social security and education funding has been cut for bombs just to throw at countries but its ok..” because he is White! Yet the media, press, congress, and everyone else is attacking President Obama for trying to rebuild the country and international relations, provide healthcare, and lower dependence on other govt’s so we won’t be in war until the end of time…ppl saying “who he think he is a celebrity” I don’t understand that! This is the plight of a successful black person! Yes you get it from both sides…don’t make it any easier!
