......Wayne is sooo overrated he usually has witty lines but you have to go through all the bullshit punchlines and horrible voices and flows and see some witty and good songs...overall his catalog isn't that good and doesn't have one classic album so how can he be called the greatest rapper

This was a good look from VH1, Lil wayne has done nothing but work hard to get where he is. I don't agree with all his music, but ALOT of it , is pure FIRE. And to hate on a man, doing so much for his career/hip hop, is just horrible. Ya he shouldn't have used auto tune so much, but the guy is a hardworking muther fucker that deserves what he gets.

I learned a lot from Wayne. Lil' Wayne taught me to be slow to speak and eager to listen. About 6 years ago when Wayne went on his mix tape tear, a young friend of mine told me that Wayne was the best.... Of course 6 years ago I laughed as if he the stupidest person on Earth.

A few years ago I remember watching a You Tube on Wayne where it was like 3AM and he was saying something to the effect that he wasnt at the club partying, he was in the studio working. This was after the self-proclaimed "Best Rapper Alive" statement (Im slow with the history, mind you, I wasnt a Lil Wayne fan). Then even later I came across the Drought 3 and heard Sky's the Limit. That song alone opened my ears to what he was doing.

Since that time and after purchasing the Carter 3, which I thought was a good album, I have been slower to judge artists without having a specific point. Let me give him his props. He made his own era. 20 years we will be talking about, remember when Lil Wayne was hot!
