*He Put A Ring On It* Beyonce Stops Performance To Let Man Propose To His Girlfriend
Just one night after winning the BET award for Best Female R&B Video of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” Sasha Fierce was all the way across the country putting on an energetic show that proves why she’s one of today’s top performers. And while that’s no surprise to her fans, there was one surprise when well into the show she was singing her hit “Put a Ring On It” and suddenly stopped. The stage lights went out until Beyonce said, “I need a light” and she was illuminated with a spotlight.
“I’m not sure if production knows about this,” she told the audience, “but Lindell has something he wants to sing.” She handed the microphone to a man in the audience, who instead of singing, said: “Beyonce, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it.” He then dropped to one knee, produced a ring and asked his stunned girlfriend to marry him, in front of the sellout crowd of 20,000+. His girlfriend, seemingly in shocked, nodded yes, the couple hugged and kissed and the crowd, of course, cheered wildly.
