Joe Budden Speaks On How His Beef With Jay-z Started "He Played Me On The Pump It Up Remix" [Video]

In his recent live stream, Joe Budden talked on what Jay-Z did that started the whole beef. He wanted to holla at Jay for a "Pump It Up Remix" and got denied. He tried to charge an amount that a brand new artist couldn't afford. "It was a f*** outta here no," he says. 2 weeks later, he put a freestyle to the beat, he says it was like "a slap in the face."

IDK... it could've been good bizness for both parties OVERALL... but cant be mad at Jay for doing the freestyle... shit everybody does it!

- Thats not shady, is it Jay's fault that you were too broke to afford hova on your remix. It was plenty of ppl in the game that couldve gave you a hot remix. Man buddens needs to stop crying on the internet. It's hip hop.

BTW Buddens is one of the best rappers out right now, his last 3 albums (Escape Route, Padded Room, Halfway House) are really good. Just because he is not that popular don't write him off as wack because he is a dope lyricist.
