FAILURE: Fat Joe Sells 8,300 Copies First Week ["A Bad man kicks you while you're down...Well I'm the worst, I'ma kick Fat Joe in the Head"- 50 Cent]
Despite all the free promotion that 50 Cent has given Fat Joe, for his new album, J.O.S.E. 2- Joe still couldn't manage to move more than 9,000 copies in his first week. Fat Joe sold very disappointing numbers according to Nielsen's Soundscan. He moved exactly 8,343 copies.
J.O.S.E. 2 was Fat Joe's 9th Studio album and was promoted very poorly. Even Fat Joe himself admitted that many consumers didn't even realize he had an album coming out until 50 Cent started announcing it. In fact, Fat Joe even thanked 50 Cent for the free promotion, calling 50 Cent "his biggest fan." Well apparently even Fat Joe's "Biggest fan" couldn't save Fat Joe's flop of a new album.

This doesn't have anything to do with his fued with 50cent, I am a person who still goes to the retail stores and buy the albums if I like the artist's contribution to Hip-Hop overall. Its more to me than just a couple of hit records that make me want to support a rapper. When was the last time any of yall bought a Wack Joe album???.....My point exactly!!! R.I.P. BIG PUN
