Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton Plan to Get Engaged
The Pussycat Dolls' lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger is planning to get engaged to her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton this summer. The 30-year-old songstress says she is ready to settle down with the Formula One racing driver. Though she hasn't set her wedding day, she wants her bandmates to be involved in the ceremony.
"Would I get married? For sure and, yeah, the Dolls can be the bridesmaids. But I have to get engaged first. Late July is looking good," she states. "Marriage is a seal of love. On my solo album I have sung about how much I love that and what the whole process would mean to me. Who needs a reason to seal their love?"
Nicole Scherzinger began dating Lewis Hamilton in 2007, after splitting from actor Talan Torriero. In a recent interview with Britain's Hello! magazine, Nicole admitted that she felt jealous with Lewis' friendship with the other The Pussycat Dolls' singers.
"He can sing quite well. He knows a lot of my songs from the group and, in a worrying way, quite a few of the routines," she confessed. "I would love him to appear in one of our videos, but I am not sure how I would feel about the other Dolls all over him. I think he would quite like it!"
