Man Kills Wife, 5 Kids & Himself After Job Loss
According to CNN, Ervin Lupoe, 40, decided to take the lives of his family after he and his wife were recently fired from Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
Prior to the killings and his suicide, Lupoe sent a note to a local TV station threatening to kill his family and himself because of an employment situation. He would also call 911 and tell an operator that his family was dead before killing himself.
Lupoe shot his wife and five children then shot himself. The children were an 8-year-old girl, twin 5-year-old girls and twin 2-year-old boys.
A suicide note was found at the home. Lupoe wrote "after a horrendous ordeal my wife felt it better to end our lives" and "why leave our children in someone else’s hands?"

Comment by Jerald Arnage on January 28, 2009 at 1:47pm - The last unfortunate news that I heard that came exactly close to this was The Chris Benoit Tragedy that happenned in 2007 where the great wrestler killed his wife,his son,and himself afterwards.Now that I read this news, I'm not shocked at all that someone else in the US was bound to make the same attempt because once I found out about what happenned with Chris Benoit I knew that it would start to spread slowly on to others with the same mind frame and only because The Chris Benoit Tragedy was a very tragic incident that spread all over the media on CNN when the story flew directly out at people. Trust me I won't be surprised again if another individual is attempting to do the same horrendous acts as we speak.My only suggestion would be if you ever have a deep gut feeling about having these type of thoughts in the future then don't ever commence to being married and having a family.Alot of people in America continue to have kids from a thoughtless perspective or from a tempting sexual manner and never sit around to think about the what if's enough such as losing your job or how much money you need to make in order to provide for your family because I'm pretty sure people now know that a job is not guaranteed or permanent.If this man knew deep in his thoughts that he was gonna take his kids out because he lost his job in the latter part of his life then he should'nt have even made any kids to begin with.Just goes to show that some people take for granite the thought of getting fired or laid off and don't give themselves enough smarts to think ahead into the future as to what could happen so that they can prepare for when a recession hits.This guy here just was'nt mentally prepared and completely lost it which is very sad and unfortunately pathetic...
