I do not call myself Phantom,my brother gave me the name when I was only 9 years old.Ok,let me break it down,raw and uncut without steppin' on the shit.The name stuck with me eversince,so I vowed to make it really mean something after he was murdered,and I will not give up...EVER...The word PHANTOM has 7 letters and I was given the name at age 9.I was born in '79...you still wit' me?? Hip-hop was also born in '79.The hospital I was born in is on 79th street..wait that's too deep right,wait it get realer...pause...lol.My brother was murdered in '97,turn it around and what do you get?...79.So now matter how you arrange the numbers,it either means my life or his death...So therefore its PHANTOM(7 letters)-(9 years old when I was given the name.).It really means somethin',its not a gimmick,I'm not a gimmick,I really mean somethin'...Now,my label name?? "Street Royalty Records"...yes, it also means somethin'.I keep my music "street" which means I don't sugar-coat shit.EVERYTHING I speak is REAL.Even people that know me,probably like "yeah right,he wouldn't do that"...no nigga,I will or I have.My music relates to the streets,let them other niggas do the bubble-gum music,it balances the hip-hop world.In this lifetime,we need fantasy and reality,so I respect y'all sincerely.Ok,now "Royalty"...this has two meanings.In this industry,we refer to money we get over a period of time as "royalties",so yes simple and plain..."street money".Now,on a whole other level,Royalty stems from being in a position of power and someone who may not be loved by all,but is respected by all because of that same position.I really don't know how many really love me,but I have NEVER been disrespected by ANYONE,so I reflect that same respect as a man."A real nigga aint got to say he's a real nigga,everybody just knows it"...lol."Street Royalty" in this industry means just that...king of this rap shit,and anybody who rolls with me will be considered true Royalty....Royal G's.."run wit' us or run from us"....Street Royalty Records...Blood of a slave,heart of a mo'fuckin' KING.......Sincerely,PHANTOM
