DUTCH _RIGA a.k.a INTRES was born in St. Anns, Jamaica W.I. and moved to Queens New York at the age of three. She battled her obstacles by writing her own songs and poetry at the age of eight eventually taking rapping seriously in her freshman year of high school. During this time rap was at an all time high as far as lyrics were concerned and it was all about the punch lines. Inspired by rappers like Nas, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Busta Rhymes, Cannibus, Eminem,and others Riga thought females could come across just as hard and with just as much cadence and swag. Some of her female influences were Rage, MC light, and Missy...because they didn't depend on men to write thier material. Riga was part of a female group called DNP in her freshmen year of highschool which included another female rapper called Chynna Rose. Due to some differences Dutch split from the group and joined her friend as the first female in his group called REPRISAL. Soon after Dutch decided to expore being a solo artist as she embarked on her journey into college in Hampton Virginia where she met some really great artist from all across the country. She experienced the ups and downs that trying to make it in the industry had to offer. DUTCH has done a number of showcases and performances in New York and Virginia. DUTCH RIGA has a versatile flow and always seeks to do newer and better productions. As an extremely talented and versatile female who writes all of her songs she seeks to conquer this male dominated industry and finds ALL ODDs AGAINST her but she refuses to be BROKEN!!!!!
