Diss tracks are tracks attacking another artists. So as long as theres some fact to it, or atleast just making fun of something, its good. Even if soulja boy made a diss track, It would be the greatest diss of all time if it was him just spitting truth after truth after truth. A bad Instrumental could still fuck it up tho, Its still a song. Whichever one had more facts than "your gay im going to kill you and piss on your grave you suck dicks" is always better. (Not saying I dont love the violent songs...)

That's why I consider Nas's Ether and Lloyd Banks Officer Down some of the greatest diss tracks, cus even If you dont like the artists, if theyre rapping about facts (and maybe some violence) and they can actually rap, they're good.

That's why Ether is better IMO. He hit Jay with harder facts and harder rhymes than Tupac did Biggie with Hit Em Up..

Ether was a great diss record that Nas created...no doubt...even though Jay won't admit it.....I think he was probably surprised by the song.....but...Hit Em Up by 2pac had much more raw emotion....just str8 disrespect 2 da fullest.....plus I think the production is better on Hit Em Up in M.O.

i gotta go with hit em up because everything about that song was crazy i mean come on he dissed the shit outa so many people wit some hot versus from pac, had alot of emotion, anger on that track and said some disrespectful shit plus besides all that they still play hit em up on the radio sometimes and i can still bump that shit.
