What you have here is a situation of biblical porportions, now understand that man with power will ultimately want more power, and in this instance; the pastor looks like a certain king in the bible.

Senator Obama has integrity and a vision and is seeking to bring the vision into reality. Wright has done himself a diservice by dissing his former congregant whom God has raised up in his midst.

Touching anointings goes both ways. If you ever read the story of King David, you will have learned that; God had rejected the previous king Saul, and sent Samuel the prophet to anoint David to be king in Saul place.

Well to make a long story short Saul began to wax weak and David began to wax stronger, Saul got jealous and sought to kill David but David would not as much as raise a hand against his king.

In my opinion Obama has done the correct thing by putting him aside, he`s not seeking to speak favorably of Obama so obama said what he had to say! No preacher has the right to come out and disrespect one of his members publicly without sin as a issue. It`s unethical. It just shows that he`s old and uh I`m not going there!

Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the freedom to say what he wants, but should've got the proper co-signing from Sen. Obama before putting his name on it. You know how the Media can take something and blow it out of proportion, and make Obama seem Anti-Patriotic based on Wright's views. See the big deal everyone made when it was revealed that Obama's middle name was Hussein????

Why do we have to be the loudest people in the room, when you can do more damage moving in silence? We, as people, can be Afrocentric without being Supremist. People don't realize that being Supremist means that you feel superior to other races. The Klan was like that, and I feel some Muslims are that way. Even Christians! Sure, we still feel the affects of slavery and racism, but it's not because of experiencing it first-hand. We look for leaks in the System and call it foul when it doesn't play our way. It's like calling a company racist for not hiring you, when you weren't qualified for the job in the first place. To be accepted by Society, we have function within Society and stop being so Seperatist. Call ourselves American before calling ourselves Afro-American. You don't see White people calling themselves European-American...

Just because you a priest don't mean that you have to follow every word they say. It's no one in the world who you would agree with 100% of the time.I don't agree that OBama is disrespecting the preacher, I think he's just distancing himself because he's on a mission to change the world.

EXACTLY yOUNG_STREETZ, It`s that kind of language that makes people doubt his callling. And when a man of God gets old that`s why they are forced to retire because of crazy statements.like that. Oral Roberts said God was going to call him home if a certain amount of money was not given. not long afterwards he retired. You cannot use language like that from your pulpit and expect to have peole to take you serious.

we may not behave as such sometimes,
but hes no better then any of us.
part of being a preacher or rev , ect, is being humble,
and him talking shit about obama isnt teaching his church nothing about the bible.
or living christ like.

his purpose is to teach a way of life.
not to pop shit in church about someone you have a personal problem with.

long story short rev wright is full of shit!!!

i wonder how much he got from clinton to bash his friend of 20 years.
all this time why not do it before he decided to run for president.
